Getting Started with Photo Story 2
Starting the Photo Story 2 wizard:
The wizard has a easy to use interface that allows novice computer users to create some pretty impressive Photo Stories just
by simply clicking next and bypassing the advanced features.
Photo Story 2 has a simple wizard that helps guide you through the creation process.
Importing and arranging pictures:
I started with some pictures of my daughter Morgan that I've been collecting for almost a year. These pictures are a mixture
of resolutions ranging from 640x480 to 1600x1200 and file sizes ranging from 100-500kb. I plan on emailing this file to Morgan's
grandparents and hosting a downloadable version on Morgan's web site,
so I'm going to try to keep the finished file under 2 minutes in length. I decided that 23 photos displayed for 5 seconds each
would be a good starting point.
Photo Story 2 makes it easy to browse your hard drive and select which photos to import.
After importing my pictures, Photo Story automatically arranged the files alphabetically into the storyboard as shown in the
screenshot below. I was able to change the order of the files by selecting the picture and moving it with the arrows.
The storyboard at the bottom allows you to select the order in which the pictures are displayed.
