Re: Transition: Reveal, Left (I need please help) 5/25/2013 9:05:01 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I really need this transition too, but I'm operating on Windows Live Movie Maker that comes with Windows 8. It uses .wlmx files, not .xml, which I guess is supposed to be pretty much the same, but I have so far failed to adapt any of the transitions to .wlmx. I tried just making a copy of one of the stock transitions, renaming it, and changing one of the parameters, rebooted Movie Maker, but it didn't show up with the rest of the transitions. Any ideas?

I really need a reveal left transition, but I'm working with Windows Live Movie Maker that comes with Windows 8. It uses .wlmx files, not .xml, which you say is pretty much the same, but I have so far failed to adapt any of the transitions to .wlmx. I followed your directions with no success. I tried just making a copy of one of the stock transitions, renaming it, and changing one of the parameters then rebooting Movie Maker, but it didn't show up with the rest of the transitions. Any ideas?
