I am using Windows LIVE Movie Maker and have had no problems. So, maybe switch from WMM to WLMM? I am very optimistic that it will improve so I'll stick with it. Helpful folks such as yourself make it easier. I feel the pain though, and sympathize 100% with all the folks who are disappointed. With Windows LIVE Movie Maker, though, I am finding this very difficult. There is the Trim Tool and the Start and End Points, and the Split tool and the storyboard does not show as nicely as in WMM.
