sorry,ifollowed all the way up to making the addontfx folder,the copying the code on notepad...but ive got 2 questions 1. can i name the effects anyother name but 'name.xml'?cos i have to keep overwriting when i do.obviously.is it a one effect ata time thing? 2. when i copy some code and paste in the box(like the 'bass' one in this thread,they dont work.infact the only one that worked was the 'shake',and i saw that immediately in the effects menu of movie maker.what am i doing wrong?

made the 'magic folder' in shared files in the movie maker folder.do i have to save evry notepad code as 'name'?does that mean its one code at a time? some copied codes dont work.what am i 4getting?

ive been made to understand that there's an xml process that allows u make modifications and such to standard movie maker 2.im wondering if perhaps there's a detailed tutorial or something somewhere in this forum? it'd be a blast,so i could do some tinkering.thanks.
