.gvp = Google Video Pointer. Requires Google video Player... licensing/copyright issues. .flv = Flash Video File. Use the <a href="http://www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3">RivaFLVencoder</a>. It's freeware... should help you out.

I don't have any input as far as what you are doing wrong. But I do have a suggestion to get the final mix as clean as possible. I would try converting your .wav files to .mp3's. <a href="http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/">NCH</a> has a freeware audio editor you can use (highly recommended software). After your files are converted, pop them in the same you did with the original .wav's... I have never tried a .wav format in my projects. But I also have never had any problems with .mp3's in my ...

What I'd like in WMM... 1/18/2006 2:23:11 PM   (Total replies: 2)
Do get me wrong. I love WMM! But there are a few things that I think would make the program a little better/easier to use. 1. Adjustable effects with user defined parameters (without having to edit the XML file) 2. More shortcut keys 3. 16:9 support 4. Maybe two video tracks to allow for overlaying, ect. -=Blaine=- said that the new MS Vista will have a new version of WMM and I did check it out. But to tell the truth, I like XP and don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. So, what I ...

Nero Effects and Transitions 1/18/2006 11:04:30 AM   (Total replies: 1)
I just got a DVD burner that came with Nero 6. The movie editing feature (NeroVision Express) is nice. A little slow in response and previewing, but FREE is the best price, eh? Does anyone know if there is a way to "extract" the transitions and effects provided in NeroVision Express and use them in WMM? I looked through the Nero folders and didn't see and XML files. Mostly DLL's that were related to effects. Wishful thinking, I guess... THANKS!

Capture format question?... 1/9/2006 3:29:51 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I have been messing around with WMM for a little while and love it! But when I start getting into a 60+ minute movie with effects and transitions the preview is VERY slow. Maybe a frame or two a second. My question regards the format I use to capture from my DV camcorder. I am currently capturing in DV format. But I have heard that when I burn movies to DVD it re-encodes them into MPEG-2. So, is it comparable to capture MPEG-2 in the first place, seeing as how it ends up there in the long ...
