You could also try detonationfilms.com They have some free stock footage of explosions there that can be used with the comp A to B transition. I've used a couple and the results were surprisingly good. BTW, explosions look a little more realistic if you use the slowdown effect in movie maker.

Can anyone post the non-red code please? I seem to have the blue, black, green, etc but I don't have one called "non-red". From what I'm reading, this one may work better for me. My search here only seems to refer to it but I can't find a post that shows the actual code. Thanks

I tried to c&p that xml code. I've done it a few times to make sure I didn't get any mistakes but I get this error: The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End tag 'TransitionsAndEffects' does not match the start tag 'Effects'. That one works. Thanks. Is there a title effect that shows video through text but also scrolls from right to left? That would make the fire title really stand out.

Yes its great. I'm too am learning a lot from this site. Thank you to all the MM2 vets out there! I used the transporter effect from kathy's site to "beam in" my movie title. Worked great!

Re: video capture choppy 8/7/2005 11:48:13 AM   (Total replies: 1)
defrag your hard drive is always the first thing, also make sure you have any apps turned off - virus scanner, etc. Also, if you don't already have, buy a second hard drive, format it as NTSC and use it solely for capture. There are more ideas and hints here: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Tutorials/HowToImproveCapture.aspx Hope it helps.

sorry, I meant NTFS, not NTSC. I'm confusing my acronyms. ;)
