Live Movie Maker 2011 and Prepare 8/15/2011 12:53:28 PM   (Total replies: 2)
Well I got a workaround for the preparing problem in 2011, I removed 2011 and replaced with the 2010 version for Windows 7. That prepare "feature" is indeed a problem in 2011. It takes hours to load up a movie recorded in WMC for example. There is no way to turn it off. Makes the program unusable! I posted a suggestion in that forum to update 2011 and make the prepare feature optional, or have a way to toggle it off or on. I realize editing SD clips is faster on any computer than HD ...

I understand it converts the HD to standard def so it will edit better, but it is ridiculous not to have a way to turn this "feature" off. My computer can handle HD editing in its native form. I ...

Alrighty, well I fixed the issue by just removing 2011 and installing the 2010 version for Windows 7. But now live photo gallery errors out. It's always something...

Wow dude he's just trying to help with your question. And I had no problem with those 3 links he provided. You must have other things going on with your computer, windows system or browser. Any time you see "trial version" from a FREE program you have acquired a hacked version. Never download software from 3rd party sites unless you absolutely know and trust the site, such as majorgeeks or the like. That's the problem with your "trial" issue.
