Re: Downloading Video from the Web Get Video No Audio 3/18/2014 12:05:39 PM   (Total replies: 1)
4K Video Downloader is my tool of choice. It can be installed or ran portably and on downloading a video the program will give you a selection of available formats and qualities, as well as an option for audio only and supports a good few video sites; Youtube, Dailymotion and Vimeo as standard.

Hi everybody, my name is Sean and I was initially going to dive right in with creating a thread, but I thought it best to introduce myself first and what I am doing so it may attract interest from likeminded individuals and perhaps we can share tips and techniques down the line. I have always managed to buy a cut price piece of software now and again on Amazon. Just keep watching for deals on any of the popular programs like Vegas, Premiere or to a lesser extent, although my personal favorite, MoviePlus from Serif. You may not be able to get the absolute newest version, but you can only expand your arsenal of editing programs further can't you.

Freemake Video Converter would be a good choice, but do remember that they do add an annoying Freemake watermark right at the end of your converted file. Format Factory in my opinion would perform just as well, but of course the decision depends entirely on whether you are trimming clips out of the source footage or converting individual clips instead.

Movie Maker in conjunction with Cameyo 3/18/2014 9:36:26 AM   (Total replies: 0)
If any of you aren't aware, Cameyo is a piece of software that captures an installation of a piece of software to your system and saves those files into a virtual package enabling you to run that software portably. Now with that said, has anyone gone as far to try this process with any of the Movie Maker versions out there and if so, what were the results?
