Blacked out portions of videos when publishing 5/5/2015 11:11:54 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Hi, When I am publishing in WMM I find that portions of my completed video are blacked out but the audio is still working over them... I understand from reading past posts that using .avi and mp3 formats can sometimes be problematic. However, all the video clips I put together were .avi and the audio is mp3 so this blacking out seems to be indiscriminate. And I would have thought that, since the date of those original posts, the codec issue would have been sorted. Short of re-doing ...

Hello all, Latest update on this issue: I have converted all the files to .wma and .wmv and re made the video but the blockouts still occur part way through the video when it is being published. When I start publishing the actual screen with the video (in the background) goes black. I'm assuming this is part of the process? I have uninstalled WMM6 and then re-installed it. When I publish again most of the video is visible but there is still a black out part way through. Has ...

Black borders on side of photos 1/16/2015 7:37:17 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Hi all, Hoping someone can help. When I import photos into the video I get thick back borders either to the sides or top and bottom of the photo. How can I get rid of these so the whole pic fills the screen? Thanks.

I've done that Blaine and it is mostly gone but there seem to be thin black lines around the edges and I know there are no borders on the photo. Any ideas?

Ignore the above post Blaine...it seems to have corrected itself now :-) Thanks!

Re: Project won't run when opened in MM 11/28/2014 4:20:00 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Hi Blaine, I'm back :-) I recently had a disk crash and had to reload programmes. I reloaded the link that you gave before for Win 7 (63 bit) but the same problem is occurring for the project files (.MSWMM) files that were originally created on Vista (32 bit op sys). Any thoughts? Thanks Rob

Hi Blane, Tried again and the problem seems to have righted itself! Bizarre. I'm having trouble opening .avi files but as you said before it might be better converting them to window files. I will let you know if any more issues occur. Thanks for your response. Rob

Project won't run when opened in MM 2/16/2012 7:19:24 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Hi all, I'm using MM on wondows 7 and when I open the project and click start it won't run. I spent ages on the microsoftsupprt chat but the guy was unable to help. So thought I'd try this specialist forum. The projects ran fine when I used mm on vista. Could I be missing a codec or file? Also. I can't import videos into the main area and the two issues MIGHT be related Im wondering..... Cheers Rob
