How to position a photo? 8/24/2017 9:02:10 AM   (Total replies: 1)
I can't remember if there is a way to position a photo on the screen. I have several portrait photos, each of witch I would like to position off of the center of the screen so that I have room for text to the larger side space. Seems like something simple, but I can't figure (or remember) how to do it.

"Been there, done that, have the T-shirt" ;-) Just thought there should be some way of positioning photos off-center, especially portraits.

displaying text vertically?? 8/16/2017 6:59:14 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Is there a way to add text vertically rather than horizontally? That is: C A rather than CAT T I need to use almost the entire vertical side and have about 10-15 letters. I'm using MM 6 on a Win 10 PC and have Wizards by Pixelan and also several of Rehan's programs.

Thanks, Neophyte (which obviously you aren't ;-)). I have tried that, but it is about impossible to put the text where you might want it. I used Ayumi's text positioning, but still couldn't get just want I wanted. I think that, normally, one would want vertical text just inside the left or right margins. I was a little surprised that someone hadn't written the code for this, but, if so, it doesn't come up in a search. Thanks again.

When I get time, I'll see about changing Ayumi's code - a few years back I changed some code to make a series of text banners. It shouldn't be much different than that. Thanks.

MM 6 on Win10?? 5/22/2017 5:07:31 PM   (Total replies: 0)
I searched but couldn't find an answer to this - pretty sure its here though. Can I run MM6 on a Win 10 PC like I did on Win7? Is MM6 still the preferred platform as opposed to MM Live?

flip and darken a video/image 3/24/2016 11:35:24 AM   (Total replies: 0)
Can a image or video be flipped horizontally? Can a image or video be darkened or lightened?

text transitions stopped working 11/13/2013 8:15:40 PM   (Total replies: 5)
I haven't used MM for several months and now I find that a text animation I wrote no longer works as I remember. I made a whole series of banner text for different locations with the text fading in and out. Now, after a slight pause, the text enters without a fade. Likewise for the exit. I am using Win 7 Home Premium; MM vs. 6.0.6002.18005. Here is one of the text animations: <TransitionsAndEffects Version="2.8"> <Titles> <TitleDLL guid="TFX"> <Title name="BannerTitle,Bottom 1" ...

I'll look into your suggestions -- Thanks for the quick reply.

Blaine, When I looked in the "change the title animation" window, I discovered that each of my banner animations are listed twice (one entire set after another). The XML contains only one title with a given guid. There is no other XML containing similar code in the shared directory. So where is the second set coming from?
