Rehan's shadertfx doesn't cost that much- just fork over the ten/fifteen dollars. There isn't anyway to have those effects without tfx; no freebies. There are effects that don't need Rehan's tfx package, however the one's your talking about need the tfx. Rehan spent lots of time and effort to make it, and to try to get it for free (and be quite so rude and demading about it) isn't very nice. View the sticky (pinned) post to find xml files that work without shadertfx.

"TV Turn off" Effect/Transition request 6/27/2008 7:56:44 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Does anyone know of or can anyone make an effect or transition that will, at the end of a clip, make it look like you turned off a tv? Like how it seems to pinch in with black on the outside. I don't absolutely need it, but it'd be nice to have. Does anyone kinda know what I'm talking about?

Like a strobe-type effect? That would be really useful- like have two speeds: one fast that could be used for a strobe-like thing, and the slower one would be perfect to do like an emphisis on a clip....

I looked, but I haven't found any effects that fit these, so I thought I'd ask for them. (Because you guys do such awesome jobs with effects/transitons for Vista :D) #1. A 'night time' filter. It'd probably end up being something simalar to Blaine's color filter in blue, but not as strong. Just something to use when I record outside during the day that changes it so it looks closer to filmed night. (Almost like I had a color filter on the lense of the camera to do the same thing). #2. ...

Oh, ok, thanks. :) I wanted to double check- knowing my luck I would have ruined the whole dll/xml coding. >.<

Hmmm.... There seems to be a problem... It just goes all 'trippy' when I tested it out... It shows up in the effects section, but I'll include the xml file I used anyway. - <!-- DPL High Lighter XML code For more infomation see: http://www.rehanfx.org/shader.htm PatrickL 3/7/2008 --> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> - <TransitionsAndEffects Version="2.8" specialiconfileid="5625" specialiconresourceid="101"> - <Effects> - <EffectDLL ...
