Help Me Play Windows Movie Maker Files on Windows Media Player

| I've tried to play my movies I made on Windows Movie Maker 2 on Windows Media Player 11 and the others, but it keeps saying it doesn't recognize the format. WMM2 only lets me save my movies as .mswmm not .avi or any other format that I know of. Can anyone help me, because I can't even upload my videos on YouTube. |,| |

I think you are trying to upload and play in media player your project file...to save it to your computer first look at the tasks lefthand side...then scroll down to save to my computer...click on that then choose your format and then it should save...then your saved file should play in media player etc

Once you finish your movie
1: go to file
2: go to save movie file
3: Click on my computer(it should be the very 1st one)
4: Choose the name you'd like and the place you'd like to save it
5: Click next
Once it saves, it will ask you if you would like to see it play after it finishes.
If it's not checked, check it, then press finish.
AND PREPARE TO JUMP WITH JOY^_^ |

| It's a very easy mistake to make and I would blame Microsoft, not the user, for the confusion. I don't know how many times I've answered this same question for numerous users. It's not readily apparent from the menus, etc. that there is a difference between a project and a movie. For many, if they make their edits and then save... they have saved their movie. But that is only so they can edit it again later... not so they can view it somewhere. In Vista, they tried to correct this by calling this a "Publish" step. Maybe that will help. |

Yes, I agree, and actually I have found that this forum's atmosphere is very positive, compared to all finnish forums I have been in. And I want to keep it that way! :D |

I tried to do that and it won't even save to my computer.
It says" This project contains source files that are missing or that have been modified after import. Your project cannot be saved as a movie until the source files have be( think this should be been but that's what it says) located or deleted from the project"
I need to get in to play on window media player! My project is due! |
