White Haze effect

I made this effect by accident but it is really good. It gives a white haze over the video

<TransitionsAndEffects Version="1.0">
<Effects>
<EffectDLL guid="{E673DCF2-C316-4c6f-AA96-4E4DC6DC291E}" >
<Effect name="White Haze" iconid="13">
<Param name="EffectID" value="13" comment="Diffuese Glow" />
<Param name="Transparency" value="35" />
<Param name="RGBBackColor" value="0x0000FF" />
</Effect>
</EffectDLL>
</Effects>
</TransitionsAndEffects>

I see you were trying to create a blue haze, but ended up with white. This looks like it was based on Jeb's prior post (view post 15478).

The RGBBackColor should be specified with a color name (e.g. "blue", "cyan", etc.), or with an RGB value, but in #RRGGBB format, not 0xRRGGBB format. So rather than 0x0000FF, try #0000FF. As it stands, if you specify an unrecognized parameter, you just get white.

It's a cool look, though. If I were going to keep this as an effect, I'd change the iconid to 12, since that looks like a hazy white picture.

It's above... just call it whatever you want (e.g. whitehaze.xml) and save it in your AddOnTFX folder.

Can't you do that by putting multiple layers of "Brightness Increase" over a clip?
