"Push" transition?
Posted: 22 Oct 2004 10:13 PM
Does anyone know how to create a "push" transition - where one clip pushes the other smoothly off screen?

I'm trying to create a pan through a large panorama shot, but using a pan/zoom effect at a high magnification creates a low-res image. I thought I could split the panorama into multiple frames, and just push them across the screen, hopefully giving the equivalent effect.

Cheers Greg

You are the closest thing to a Movie Maker Wizard!!! Where did you find that one out? That will do just nicely, until of course I want to pan the other way...

So I'd get the program on your website and insert your "push transition" into it? Is that the only way to use it in MM2?

Brandi :~)

Brandi,

This is a full transition as it is. It does not need any of my other programs. Just copy paste the xml code in notepad and save in C:\Program Files\Movie maker\Shared\AddonTFX folder as push.xml. Enjoy.
