Audio Extracting Help

Hello, im very new to Movie maker and i would like some help on something.

though this question probably been asked a million times i was wondering.

How do u extract Music from a video? I just want the Music and thats all.

any help would be really apreciated :)

After you pull the clip into MM and place it on the timeline...follow the steps like you would be saving it to a movie file...but select saving it as a .wma (audio file)

it wont let me save as WMA, it will only let me save as a movie maker project :s

are you asking to get music only from a commercial video [ie no voice] to add to your video??

Be sure to place your video on the 'Music/Audio' track (in the timeline view, Ctrl+T if you need to toggle to timeline). If you put it on the music track but leave the video track empty, then it will save as a .wma (audio) file instead.

Is there any way to extract the audio - ie the voices - as the sound recording quality on my camcorder is poor and needs to be used in Audacity??
