There isn't any such product. Movie Maker 1 started with Windows Me and XP, and MM2 is only available for Windows XP.

There was a program called 3D movie maker which came installed on my old Windows 95 machine... I'm not sure what it was but maybe that was the pre-movie maker product.

yes it was pre Movie Maker.... for Windows 95

Microsoft KB article 143230 says that - Microsoft 3D Movie Maker files are saved in a proprietary format (*.3mm). 3D Movie Maker files cannot be saved to a standard Audio Video Interleave (.avi) format.

.... so I guess you can't make them with that app and use them in your MM2 movies.
