Posted: 16 Apr 2004 03:34 AM
Hello,

i tried to modify the spee-up effects by editing an XML file, but it seems that it has absolutly no effects though i think i followed the instructions for doing that.

If somebody has an idea why it don't work.....

   <TransitionsAndEffects Version="1.0">

-<Effects>
-<EffectDLL guid="{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}">

<Param name="Speed" value="2.0"/>
</Effect>
-<Effect name="essaiplus" iconid="31" comment="youp down">
<Param name="Speed" value="0.5"/>

try removing the dashes "-" from the front of the parameters also as you can see below you do not need a separate Param entry for the speed parameter (see below) but i dont know if defining it the way you have will cause any problems.

<TransitionsAndEffects Version="1.0" >
<Effects>
<EffectDLL guid="{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}">
<Effect name="speed 1.5" iconid="32" speed="1.5" comment="Speed
up 1.5">
</Effect>
<Effect name="speed 0.75" iconid="31" speed="0.75" comment="Slow
down0.75">
</Effect>
<Effect name="speed 0.25" iconid="31" speed="0.25" comment="Slow
down0.25">
</Effect>
</EffectDLL>
</Effects>
</TransitionsAndEffects>
