How-to encode to 1080p with Windows Media Encoder?
Posted: 23 Jun 2017 04:38 AM
Hello,

how can I convert my uncompressed 1080p (full hd) input avi file to a 1080p wmv file with Windows Media Encoder?
There is only a preset for 720p in the wizard.

So I tried to set the resolution manually to 1920x1080 but the final output video was of very low quality (blurry),
I guess because Windows Media Encoder only uses a total bit rate of 5393 kbps.
I was not able to increase the bit rate.

TO MAKE IT SHORT:
1. Why is there no easy one-click preset to generate 1080p full hd video?
2. How can I workaround (create a 1080p by tweaking some settings manually?)

Hope someone can help me?

Thanks.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
