Cool beans. Very nice for your first effect, how long did you work on it. One suggestion, rename it. You spelled light wrong ("ligth"). Common mistake, I did it once. I spelled during as durring.

Now rid of those bright colors

Nice job!

In my mind it is more of a two-color threshold effect, where you can specify the RGB value for light and dark. Any idea on what the 3 parameters control and did you try other settings before you settled on these?

Personally I would call it 'Photocopy (Yellow)' since that is the effect it is based on and you have a yellowish color for the dark areas, but 'Blending Light' is fine too.

Lovely effect, awesome job ;). I'm no were near working on a xml codes chapter on my page on Papajohn's site but in the future this would tie in nicely with xml filters in Movie Maker. Do you mind if I feature your effect when such section arrives? Both Papajohn and I share feelings about linking to codes and not exactly copying everyones hardwork. But if you permit I think it's a nice filter to add to the effects list.

Need help with xml?
