DVD Freeze after succesfull burn with Windows DVD Maker Posted: 28 Oct 2009 02:13 PM |
I've been using Movie maker and DVD maker for a while now and now I have a major problem. It happened before, but now it's urgent.
After I succesfully burned a disc, I place it in the DVD player...
All goes well, but at the third scene the dvd freezes, and finally stops.
When picking scenes from the menu, same thing happens with the third scene.
I tried everything now, I changed the scene selection, added less scenes, you name it...nothing helps!
Sometimes a DVD burns perfectly and plays perfectly...I waisted 3 brand new DVD discs already now, I'm lost, can you help me??
And it's not my DVD player either, I tried it on 2 different players, same problem. It's also nothing to do with the disc quality or something, I also tried other brands of DVDs.
Please help me |

| What's the file format of the source files in your project? If you publish the movie to your computer, do you see the same problem in that movie? |

It's just AVI.
When published, the movie plays very well on my PC.
When doin' a preview on dvd maker, also no problems there. It's only after burning. |

| Publish your movie to your computer and make sure there's not a problem with it. If there's not a problem with it, go to "Tools > Options > Compatibility" in Movie Maker and uncheck all the filters ending in .ax and then try burning your movie to the disc at a lower speed. |
