need serious help

I have read true all the post and did not find any answers for my probleme, so i am posting here HOping to get some help.
So yeah just got a brand new machine sporting Windows 7 and the new window live movie maker.
here is my prob:
I do my videos wiht JVC everio HD cam, the new movie maker support those format, so yeah i can see them in my wlmm.
but once I finish my editing etc and ready to publish thats where my prob is
when I chose any of the following format
HD-1080P
HD-720P
Widescreen 480P
once the conversion is done and i look at my finish clip, the quality is just plain Bad...seriously bad.....I have never add those kind of probs before and I do lots of clips....
Even the TO quality format HD-1080P is just plain sad to look
It a VERY powerfull computer and the video card has 1.5 G of mem dd3 8 gigs of ram etc
I am pretty sure its not my computers fault
Any help at all would be VERY appreciated
