Playing two videos at once on top or side by side?

| i'm fairly new with movie maker and its on vista and i'm new with vista as well. my question is i'm trying to play two videos at once. it doesnt matter where they are like side by side or one over the other. because what i am doing is i have my dazzle hooked up to my pc and then its hooked up to my xbox360 and what i did is i downloaded the Amazing goal scored by Jonathan toews against Colorado and did pretty much the same goal in nhl 08. and what i want is the youtube video on top or beside the goal i created on nhl 08 then recorded with my dazzle. please help |

The first question is are you able to import these two clips into Vista Movie Maker? And if so can you put them on the storyboard/timeline and make edits and publish them?
If so, then what you need is a custom transition between the two clips and then to overlap them on the timeline (Ctrl+T to toggle to timeline view) as much as possible. I would download ShaderTFX (view post 126998). You can then use the PIP (Picture-in-Picture) or Side-by-side transitions to get them playing simultaneously on the screen. |

| what if I want to play two videos more than the time we get in transition. I mean what if I want to play two videos for 2 minutes continuous? |

| Just drag the clips over each other so the transition lasts for two minutes continuous. |
