Attention to you folks using MP3 audio files...read this!

A lot of folks have problems with MP3 files....causing a variety of play and save problems....convert those files to .wma or .wav files and save yourself a lot of trouble.
Additional comments:
Windows Media Encoder, series 9 is one tool you can use to convert .mp3 to .wma
Audacity is an open-source audio editor that can convert .mp3 to .wav
