How to add a logo to top left of screen

Hi all..I want to add a small logo to the top left of my screen in movie maker,rather like the add on that gives TV age ratings elsewhere in this forum..I have a logo,just don't know how to add it to a piece of footage!
Can anyone help? |

I havent resized the image yet,but I want it to appear as a TV channel logo,like Sky News do,if you see what I mean? |

Would you just tell me the current dimensions? I can help with the XML you will need. I need to know the specific dimensions to know if it is square, or tall or wide or whatever.
Oh, and also the full name of the image file you will be using.
Here's an example with a square logo called mylogo.gif... give me your values and I'll update this.

Its a small JPEG image,dimensions are 267x170

Ok..I copied and pasted your script to notepad,pasted it into add ons in Movie Maker program files..it appears as an option now,so I've learned something!!...I just cant figure how I get the picture I want to be in the top left..I.e..how do I link the picture to the text for the .xml file to show my logo?
I am assuming that somewhere in the script there has to be a link to the location of the logo on my pc that I wish to display..I just am not good enough with programming to figure where it would go.
Thanks for your continued help..its very much appreciated
By the way,this logo I wish to post is for a UK based Ice hockey TV show for our local side,in case you had wondered! |

Its not showing the logo at all..using it as an overlay,im just getting a black screen..its even blacked out the video I want to overlay it on
In the script you provided,does there have to be a link to the picture for MM to pick it up..my picture resides in my desktop"Capture "file

You have to put your image in the same AddOnTFX folder... Sorry, I forgot to mention that. And also, I think I gave it the wrong name "small-logo.jpg" rather than "logo-small.jpg".
Either change the bold line in the XML, or rename the file in the AddOnTFX folder. |

Sorry to trouble you again,but is it possible to make the logo appear smaller on the screen with an image of 50x32 (same image,just smaller) that is 20.1 KB in size?
What would I need to do this?

Just look at the XML above... the two numbers in bold (... 0.17 0.14) are the scale for the width and height, so if you wanted it 50% as big you would make them:
.... 0.085 0.07
Or other scaling (40%):
.... 0.068 0.056
(30%)
.... 0.051 0.042
