Earth Quake Effect ? Posted: 02 Apr 2005 11:10 AM |
| I looked all over the net and quite a few pages on this forum, but I didnt see anything that showed how to make a Earth Quake Effect or a shaky camera effect. If anyone could give me a little tut to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated, and + im a real newb at all this XML stuff ... |

| My forthcoming PipPlus package would allow such an effect to be made. Watch this space... |

Try this xml:
Try this:
<TransitionsAndEffects Version="1.0" >
<Effects>
<EffectDLL guid="{ADEADEB8-E54B-11d1-9A72-0000F875EADE}">
<Effect name="Shakiness" iconid="4" comment="Shakiness">
<Param name="Age" value="0" />
<Param name="FilmJerkiness" value="255" />
</Effect>
</EffectDLL>
</Effects>
</TransitionsAndEffects>
You can edit the Film Jerkiness value to be whatever you want.
Copy the code into notepad, and sava as .xml in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared\AddOnTFX
The next time you open movie maker, it whould be there. |

just copy the xml code given above and paste into a notepad
then save it as an xml file, for example earthquake.xml
save it in your addontfx folder
if you do not have an addontfx folder, simply create 1 addontfx folder in your
c:\program files\movie maker\shared
note that you need to be an administrator to do changes in the shared folder, because
most of the case people who do not have admin access are unable to do any changes
in the shared folder, thus they are unable to view the extra transition/title/effect in their
windows movie maker

Your instructions are missing something.

| When you save it, set the 'Save as type' bar to 'all files' and rename the file to end as .xml |
