Import with ATI TV Wonder - "too many methods to fire events from"
Posted: 08 Mar 2005 10:43 AM
Hope you all can help. I installed an ATI TV Wonder. Got all the latest drivers from the ATI Site. I record some TV and want to import it to MM2, and I get this.

"An interface has too many methods to fire events from"

I checked the PapaJohn site. It describes the problem as a codec issue. Can I download a codec for MM2 that will help? Which one? Where to get it? I havent yet tried converting to AVI, but that just another long step for small clips of video. My plan is to start transfering and editing my old VHS Home Movies.

I read in another post that uninstalling PowerDVD took care of the problem. That did not work for me. However, just so you are informed. I still have Nero's suite and ATI suite that can still play DVDs.

Am I outta luck?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

See www.papajohn.org under the importing source files section.

A codec issue that is best worked around by converting the MPEG-2 file to an AVI file that is made with a codec that works in MM2.

... my website isn't here... it's at www.papajohn.org
