XML Help
Posted: 05 Oct 2008 12:31 AM
I want the titles inside the [white] box in this picture:
http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/7688/demilovatokn1.png

Can anyone code it for me in Vista? And, if you have extra time, can anyone please teach me how the XML works? Like changing the width and the height..
If you know what i mean :]

Thank you in advance!

Hi lecxis

Hope this helps.

The image and a sample video are here:
http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/568027674uEuTzh

copy the code below and save it in AddOnTFX folder as lecxis_scrollup.xml.

Save the image, import it into movie maker then drag it to video area on timeline. Next add a title on the selected clip and select the lecxis_scrollup title animation.

xml code:

<!--Save as lecxis_scrollup.xml in AddOnTFX folder-->
<TransitionsAndEffects Version="2.8">
<Titles>
<TitleDLL guid="TFX">
<Title name="Lecxis Scroll Up" iconid="13" guid="Lecxis Scroll Up" comment="Simple scroll inside image for lecxis">
<Param name="Animation" value="TitleStandard" />
<Param name="Description" value="Scrolls text from bottom to top" />
<Param name="OptimalDurationMultiplier" value="3.0" />
<Paragraph>
<Param name="MainEffect" value="EffectNone" />
<Param name="ExitEffect" value="EffectFade" evaluation="Linear" />
<Param name="ExitDuration" value="0.33" />
<Param name="EntrancePosition" value="0.5, 0.8" evaluation="Linear" />
<Param name="ExitPosition" value="0.5, 0.2" evaluation="Linear" />
<Param name="VerticalAlignment" value="Top" />
<Param name="ResizingTechnique" value="KeepHorizontalConstant" />
<Param name="MaxCharacterCount" value="100" />
</Paragraph>
</Title>
</TitleDLL>
</Titles>
</TransitionsAndEffects>

Regards
Colin

I am familiar with copying and saving the XML codes in the proper folders. What I am not able to do with this title is how to capture the two available images.
It seems you need to subscribe to Webshots to get the images. If that is not necessary, then how do I get both images? Thanks.
