Title Overlays(Crosshairs,Binoculars,and Vignette)
Posted: 15 Sep 2008 02:29 AM
Here is three title overlays I put together from Blaine's Dreamy Look Overlay.I just changed the image and altered the XML a tad bit.So thank him for most of the work

The Crosshairs,Binoculars(nicknamed Peeping tom) and Vignette images are located at these three locations.

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e128/blue21bucket/Crosshairs.png
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e128/blue21bucket/peepingtom.png
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e128/blue21bucket/vignette.png

With the XML codes located below.Just Copy/paste each code individually into notepad and save as a XML file into your "AddonTFX" folder.

I think when you save it, you will see a little window under
the name area that says TXT. Change that to "all types"
and then you can save as "name.xml"

Hi. I did this, but the option doesn't show in Movie Maker. In other words, I copied and pasted and saved this xml file, but when I open Movie Maker, nowhere does it give me the option to insert the overlay. I'm using Windows 7 and MM 2012.

Microsoft has not provided any published way to customize the newer versions of Movie Maker. All customizations are for the older versions of WMM 2.x (on XP) or WMM 6.0 (on Vista).

Note: You can load Windows Movie Maker 6.0 on Windows 7 and then you could do this.
