Clock - Time elapsed Transition! HELP PLEASE!
Posted: 10 Aug 2008 05:24 PM
I'm looking for a Clock transition where it swipes clock wise and turns into another video or part.
This is an example from a HappySlip video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqYp1wUWWZY&feature=related
Skip to 0:59 and watch to 1:02
Please help!
Thanks in advance. =]

Just incase Nancyy didn't read that thread. Copied from my other post:

Nancyy, both those codes result in the same transition. Let me know if that works for ya.
Try this code:

<TransitionsAndEffects Version="2.8">
<Transitions>
<TransitionDLL guid="TFX">
<Transition name="Wipe, Clockwise (wheel spokes 1)" iconid="54" guid="Wheel, 1 Spokes" comment="Wheel, 1 Spokes">
<Param name="Animation" value="Wipe" />
<Param name="Mesh" value="Wheel" />
<Param name="Edge" value="Sharp" />
<Param name="Numbers" value="1" />
<Param name="GradientWidth" value="1.0" />
</Transition>
</TransitionDLL>
</Transitions>
</TransitionsAndEffects>

hey is there another version of this clock wipe?
one that is more like the normal wipes? (eg: less cut and more blurriness?)

For some reason I was using the program then It turns off. After I tried to use the Clock effect and it did it wrong so I tried it again and it didn't show! What's happening? I keeping trying to preview it but it turns my MM off.

How would you make that a bit more blurred?

I'll leave it to MovieMakerKid to give the full answer, since this is his transition. At a minimum, I'd think you'd want to change the Edge parameter from "Sharp" to "Soft".
