this is my first effect tweak hope you guys like it

I highly recommend giving each custom effect a unique guid that isn't going to conflict with other effects. I changed your guid above so it isn't the same as "Film Age, Old"... I hope you don't mind.

I've also added it to the pinned list of Vista effects (view post 126998)

Copy that into Notepad. Save it as earthquake.xml in your 'Documents' folder.

Next go to C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared

If you don't already have an 'AddOnTFX' folder, make one.

Now copy the earthquake.xml file from 'Document' to 'AddOnTFX'.

Restart WMM.

hey, how do you make an .xml document? all I can choose from is Rich Text Document, Text Document and something about Uni-Code?

A great thing to do, is add the first Earthquake with the Film Age, Oldest. It looks like a REAL old movie!
