| 1. | playing and burning in wrong format Posted by dunelimo on 8/8/2010 7:04:16 AM When I open up/import a pre edited project that is in 16.9 and the screen is in 16.9 size the video is shown as 4.3 and when burnt is in 4.3---if I play the unedited video it plays fine in it's 16.9 format ???
When I first import the video to edit --it plays in 16.9 |
| 2. | Re: playing and burning in wrong format Posted by dunelimo on 8/8/2010 7:02:00 PM Aspect ratio 16.9--have also reset this before importing and during editing
I normally just 'save' and then burn but have also saved as HD |
| 3. | Re: playing and burning in wrong format Posted by dunelimo on 8/10/2010 4:21:38 AM It is a daily downloaded TV program (.WTV) that I have been editing out adds for about a year with no problems until about a week ago---I am useing the beta WLMM program |
| 4. | Re: playing and burning in wrong format Posted by dunelimo on 9/5/2010 4:58:20 AM Now I am using the non BETA version I don't have this problem any more -----beta may not be "better" not at the moment :-) |
| 5. | Re: playing and burning in wrong format Posted by dunelimo on 9/6/2010 7:14:01 PM It started in first and carried over on to the second beta |
| 6. | Re: New public beta version of WLMM released.... Posted by dunelimo on 8/19/2010 1:40:41 AM There going in the right direction---another couple of 'Beta' updates and we might see an editable audio line and a 'reverse' video effect --I would also like to see the 'save' button visible in the ribbon at all times instead of in a drop down box |
| 7. | Re: New public beta version of WLMM released.... Posted by dunelimo on 8/30/2010 1:33:10 AM Has any one had problems with 5-10 seconds of video/audio stutter after the video has been pre-processed and then all goes well---I deleted the BETA version and went back to the old one and used the same video and with out the 'must do' pre-processing it works fine ??? |
| 8. | Re: New public beta version of WLMM released.... Posted by dunelimo on 8/30/2010 11:06:50 PM It was the BETA version 2
The file was a windows downloaded TV program .WTV 2.6 GB, DTV content, before editing it got an automatic file change for some reason (a small box on the bottom left showed this and I had to wait 5 minutes)
'' Also a DXDiag report would be helpful.'' --- Not sure what this is ? :-)
The previous BETA 1 was fine, would edited as a .WTV, never had to change it to a different file to edit ---and no stutter of the ... |

| 11. | Re: Putting WMM on my Windows 7 machine Posted by dunelimo on 1/4/2010 3:09:37 AM I downloaded WMM 2.6 onto my 7 OS and although it does work it does not edit HD video which is all I shoot in----LMM does with out any hickups

| 12. | Re: I Hate WLMM. Posted by dunelimo on 7/7/2010 11:55:35 PM A couple of weeks back I edited about an hour-1/2 of over seas holiday video's taken in HD, WMML seemed slower than normal at editing and the transition's effects when played were a bit choppy, I took pictures from the video and re used them useing the snipit tool they came out quite clear.
The burn DVD played on my HD TV came out great, a couple of days back when I checked my cam recorder I discovered I had the video setting on full HD 60 FRP interlaced-----I love WLMM |
| 13. | Re: How to add Narration Posted by dunelimo on 7/19/2010 8:52:53 PM Do you need an audio recording program for this---I get 'an audio recording device cannot be found' when I click onto sound recorder |
| 14. | Re: How to add Narration Posted by dunelimo on 7/21/2010 1:59:22 AM Got it working :-)
Discovered the front two jacks (mic-headphone) on my new PC don't work only the rear's ---it's a pain to plug them in |
| 15. | Re: How to add Narration Posted by dunelimo on 8/3/2010 2:32:27 AM After hearing my talk over on playback I think I will hang up the mic never to be used again :-) |
| 16. | Re: How to insert photo into a video but keep video sound? Posted by dunelimo on 4/18/2010 10:01:18 PM You will need to convert the video to an audio so that you have the back ground sound separate that can be added as a audio after the video editing
Use a video audio converter (I use format factory a free download) and save the audio as a wma or mp3 (some video format's will not code/save as wma)
|
| 17. | Re: Crossfading music? Posted by dunelimo on 3/28/2010 8:15:35 PM Click onto edit, on the left there is volume high low, also fade in-fade out---the drop down box shows slow-medium-fast |
| 18. | Re: Audio Quality when creating the WMV Posted by dunelimo on 3/12/2010 6:59:11 PM Before doing any editing right click onto the wtv file and change it to .dvr-ms format, see if that makes any differance to the edited video |
| 19. | Re: Can I make scenes smaller? Posted by dunelimo on 3/3/2010 6:18:39 PM Use the L and R arrows under the preview screen, they move the video frame by frame for precise editing |
| 20. | Re: Windows Live Wave 4 Preview Posted by dunelimo on 2/25/2010 8:20:09 PM This is sounding good
''Word also has it that Movie Maker will now have over 60 transitions and over 40 different visual effects.''
With upgrades comeing along the program will only get better, I enjoy useing this program--I downloaded and tried window 6 ( I have never used it before) but went back to WLMM as I found it a lot quicker to use
|
| 21. | Re: How on earth...do you use this thing? Posted by dunelimo on 2/8/2010 7:23:26 PM If you want to move the video frame by frame just use the arrows L & R under the video, it's not that hard, if you then want to save that frame as a still use the windows snippig tool |
| 22. | Re: Taking photos Posted by dunelimo on 1/12/2010 4:43:15 AM Yes use the snippit tool, once you have the image in the WLMM program put the space bar onto it and then open up 'visual Effects' there are 1/2 dozen strengths of black and white that can be used, if you cannot find one for your needs click onto 'Brightness' to adjust the image light or dark then add the black and white effect, I done this recently to some pics added to a video |
| 23. | Re: Just a little Question Posted by dunelimo on 12/17/2009 4:16:14 AM I down loaded MM 2.6 into my windows 7 PC ---it works but it does not edit HD files |
| 24. | Re: Problem With Clips After Splitting or Trimming Posted by dunelimo on 12/10/2009 12:29:38 AM I have windows 7 64 bit---I use an Xacta FH1 which has the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format---I do not have your problem and made 1/2 dozon or more film's, you must have a bug in the program, you might try deleteing it and a new install |
