1.Windows Live Movie Maker - Released

Microsoft has announced Windows Live Movie Maker, available now as part of Windows Live Essentials. This release is a free download for Windows 7 and Windows Vista PCs that meet the minimum system requirements.

Note on XP vs. Vista:
XP and Vista handle custom transitions, effects and titles differently. Since XP has been out a long time, most of the items you'll find here are for XP only. Often these are shown in blue and you'll see ...

Today the new Windows Live Essentials becomes available for public beta testing. Windows Live Essentials beta requires Windows Vista or Windows 7, and is available in English, French, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, or Spanish.

Go under the Profile link: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forums/User/EditUserProfile.aspx

Change your email address to your new one. The site will email you a confirmation. Once you have that you can request to send your current password.

I have been waiting for VideoLAN Movie Creator. If it's half as good as the VLC Media Player then it'll be a big hit.

Hi, Windows 7 comes with a tool that will allow you to take screenshots of just about anything. The name of the program is called the Snipping Tool and it's located under all programs in the accessories folder. Here is a link that explains the snipping tool. Use Snipping Tool to capture screen shots.

How to Apply a Black and White effect to your Photo in Paint.Net Taken from this link

Open the photo that you want to use or undo the effect that you just applied. Go to the top of your window and click Adjustments > Black and White. You can also press CTRL SHIFT G on your keyboard to turn your photo to black and white.
